Card Give Away

I know, I have not posted for over a month. It has been a busy month for me.
I am going to give away a selection of 8 hand made greeting cards, made by me, of course. They will include some holiday cards and at least one using the washi paper quilting technique shown in this photo.
The give-away contest starts now and ends on Saturday, September 20. I will randomly pick the winner Sunday morning 9/21. When I contact you, I'll need delivery information to ship your cards.
Just for kicks, let me know why you feel you should win the cards.
After the holiday season is over, I will do another give-away featuring a piece of my porcelain pottery. Right now I need everything for the show and sales I have on the schedule.

Shouldn't your big sister, the first to comment on your blog, who is on vacation but brought along her laptop so she could stay in touch with everyone, deserve a chance?

Enjoying a few days on Tybee Island but will be home in time to come visit on Friday. See you soon!

Love you!

I don't know - big sister who brought along her younger sisters and left the laptop home would have had a better chance!!!

I need to win these cards because although I collect stamps, pads and paper I never seem to make any cards. If I won your cards I would actually be able to send out some cards to friends and family! :-)

For the record, I did offer to let Regina come with us but she had some lame excuse about it being too far and having to work or something. Anyway, Colleen gave a MUCH better reason why she should win.

remember, the reasons are just the fun part... the winner will still be random... although, I may come up with a runner-up prize for the best reason... hmmmmmm

Hey hey, family usually isn't eligible for these. I think your long time customer deserves it. :)

I think I should win the cards because....my job will be ending in the near future and times could be hard. I may not have money to buy bunny food and the bunnies would find these to be very tasty.

OK..strange sense of humor to some who read this. But the cards are beautiful. Of course I'd love to have them just because I love all of Cindy's work. But, I'm sure there are many others of you that feel the same way.

Good luck to everyone...including me:)

I think your long suffering Pen Pal of 35 years deserves to win. After all, she has been waiting countless months and sometimes even years for word from her pen pal. I stand by my mailbox or my computer waiting for a letter or an e-mail but alas...none arrive.

Strangly enough, Cindy, I just googled your name yesterday and found you are teaching a LOT of classes. If I lived in your state, I would be there in a heartbeat. I love creating things.

Wow, I even figured out how to add a picture. Good thing since I work in the computer dept!

Oh, but Cindy, if I win you won't have to ship them. You can just give them to me at Bead Club. And I know how beautiful they are !!

OK, if we are going on longevity....customers or penpals.... I win because I have known Cindy longer than any other commenter. I would mention exactly how long, but not sure Cindy wants her age divulged here. However, suffice it to say, I've know her since her birth.

As far as delivery, I will be making the looooong trip up to The Mercantile from my home just to visit Cindy (and some other family members, oh and a quilt show, and possibly some galleries) tomorrow. OH, but I just remembered, she is drawing the winning name on Sunday morning and I am leaving to come back home on Saturday. Oh well, I tried.

Good luck to whoever wins, but aren't we all winners for knowing Cindy?!

I think I, your loving niece, daughter of your OLD sister should receive the cards. I've been writing lots of thank you notes as part of my Arbonne business and will be writing many more as my little first graders bring me all sorts of holiday surprises! What a great way to get your name out there! People will say "WOW! What fabulous cards! Where did you get them?" And I will say "Oh, my wonderful, beautiful, talented aunt Cindy made them. Would you like to buy some? Or take a class? Or read her blog?" And they will say "Oh YES! All of the above!!!"

Furthermore, I did not even know you had a blog until this contest and now I've got you bookmarked! So you've earned yourself a new loyal reader! :)

Love you! Oh, and I MIGHT even be kind enough to give one of the cards to your eldest sister! Did she offer to give one to me? No. How rude! ;-)

What a beautiful card. You are very creative. I just finished reading Memoirs of a Geisha and watched the movie. It reminds me of it. My grandmother would love this card.

I found out about your giveaway on Regina's blog...
Hmm...Why should I win the cards...I have 5 kids and hardly ever have time to stamp. lol!
I recently started getting together with some ladies once a month to stamp. I bet i could impress them something new! ;o)

I found out about your giveaway from Regina's blog. Hmmmm why should I win the cards? In the past, I've collected stationary... lately, I do hardly anything for myself... as I'm a home school mom and we are a one income family. It would certainly be a "treat" for me to receive those cards. I really have no 'real reason' why you would choose me over anyone else. Maybe you could place our names in a hat and pick one out to be the winner??? Thanks for this fun contest!
