Thoughts

I sit here, grateful that my family has persevered and survived 2021.

I have no photos to share, I cannot seem to get my Dropbox to work properly on this new computer...

Today I learned that a friend of mine from fb-land has passed due to this wretched virus. Her last days were spent on a ventilator. All this when we thought the pandemic was ending... and yet it is surging, again... my heart hurts for those suffering through the virus, as well as for those who have lost loved ones.

May 2022 bring brighter days and an end to the pandemic status this virus holds over us all.

Is it October - ALREADY???

 Oh how time flies!

I am in the midst of creating for the Mistletoe Market at The Anderson County Museum which will be November 5 & 6 this year. After a year off due to the pandemic (and the county cancelling any indoor events last Fall), it will be nice to be back. I have always loved this show.

Pictures?  Well, I am taking new pictures and I also need to figure out how to get Drop Box set up on my new computer... I may have to remove it from my old computer (which I still use for a few things), or my tablet... if I recall, the maximum is 3 devices for the account.

When I get the photos taken, I will share them here.

I hope this post finds you all doing as well as you can.

Curve Ball

In these trying times, when there is so much going on in the world, we sometimes take situations for granted.

In two days time, I found out that two people close to me have been given major medical news. One was told they have the early stages of Parkinsons Disease, the other, an aggressive form of prostate cancer. I was still trying to get my bearings from the first news, and the second news hit.

They are both strong people and I have faith that all will be handled well.

We are but a tiny drop in the ocean.

As always, I will treasure the time spent with them. And I pray for several years more of their company.

Life is unpredictable. Let the people you love know it.
